Combination policy
Under our combination policy, the care you use is usually reimbursed in kind. In those cases, you are entitled to care that falls under the insurance conditions. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy are refunded on the basis of reimbursement, whereby you are entitled to reimbursement of the healthcare costs. What does that mean for you?
Care in kind
With care in kind, you are entitled to the care that is covered by our insurance conditions. This means that HollandZorg is obliged to provide you with the care, but we do not do this ourselves. To that end, we conclude contracts with a large number of care providers throughout the Netherlands, from which you can choose your preferred care provider. In these contracts, we not only make agreements about the price, but also about the quality, accessibility and efficiency of care. If you use a care provider we have a contract with, this care provider provides the healthcare and you send us the invoice. Information about all conditions can be found in the policy conditions.
Refund
In the case of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, the care is not reimbursed in kind, but on the basis of a refund. This means that you are entitled to reimbursement of the costs of that care and that you are not bound by the care providers with whom we have concluded a contract. Nevertheless, we also conclude contracts with many care providers of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. For example, we can stipulate quality requirements and make agreements about the price of the treatment. As a result, you still have a free choice of care, but you are assured of good and affordable care. If you are seeing a care provider of physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy with whom we have concluded a contract, the healthcare provider will send us the invoice. Non-contracted care
We have set maximum rates for care provided by a care provider with whom we have not concluded a contract. If you opt for a healthcare provider who does not have a contract with us, you will be reimbursed for the costs up to the maximum rate. If the non-contracted healthcare provider apply higher rates than the maximum rate, you will pay the costs above the maximum rate yourself.
